This page summarizes the key notices that all clients of this practice are entitled to. The full documents will be reviewed with you at intake and a signed copy will be kept in your file.

Notice of Privacy Practices (HIPAA)

Hannah currently practices through Genesis Counseling in Boca Raton, Florida. Genesis is the covered entity for all clinical care, including telehealth sessions across Florida. Genesis's Notice of Privacy Practices governs how your protected health information is used, disclosed, and protected. You will receive the full notice at intake and a signed acknowledgment will be kept in your file.

Email correspondence with Hannah is sent to her practice address (hannah@hannahleetherapy.com) and routed through the site's domain email provider to her directly. Please avoid sending detailed clinical information by ordinary email, since email is not a secure or encrypted channel and the outbound side of your own email provider sits outside any protected environment.

Online scheduling

The free 15-minute consultation can be scheduled through an online calendar widget on this site, provided by Cal.com. The widget is used only to pick a time for the consultation call. It asks you for your name, email address, phone number, and the time slot you choose. Cal.com may also log standard operational data such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps in order to deliver the booking service.

Please do not use the scheduling widget to share clinical details, symptoms, diagnoses, medications, or sensitive personal history. The widget is a scheduling tool and not the right surface for that information. Anything private can wait until we're on the call together, and any clinical information shared after you become a client is held under Genesis Counseling's Notice of Privacy Practices described above.

Good Faith Estimate (No Surprises Act)

Under federal law (Public Health Service Act, 45 CFR 149.610), you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges for healthcare services before you receive them. This includes therapy.

You will be given a written Good Faith Estimate before your first session, and you may request one at any time. If your final bill is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the bill.

Supervised Practice Disclosure

Hannah Lee, MS, is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (RMHCI) in the State of Florida. Per Florida law (FL Statute 491), an RMHCI practices under the qualified supervision of a fully licensed mental health professional. Hannah's qualified supervisor is:

This means a fully licensed clinician consults with Hannah regularly about her clinical work, ensuring the care you receive is held to the standards of the profession. This arrangement is a routine and required part of becoming an independently licensed therapist in Florida.

Analytics and website cookies

This website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google, to understand how visitors find and move through the site so we can improve it. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects information such as the pages you view, your approximate location derived from your IP address, your device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site.

You are in control of analytics on this site. You can accept or decline using the banner shown on your first visit, and you can change your choice at any time using the Privacy settings link in the footer. In regions whose laws require prior consent, including the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and a number of United States privacy and health-data states, analytics cookies are not set unless you accept. Before you make a choice in those regions, Google receives only limited, cookieless measurement signals, with no analytics cookies set, used for aggregate modeling and reporting.

We do not send Google your name, your contact details, or anything you type into the site, and we do not send information that identifies you personally. Google receives limited event data, such as which pages and sections you view, how far you scroll, which links and buttons you select, and whether you begin booking a consultation, and reports it to us in aggregate. The scheduling form and anything you share with Hannah are never passed to Google Analytics or to any advertising service.

Website hosting and security

This site is delivered through Cloudflare, which provides the content delivery network, domain name service, and security layer in front of the website. To serve pages and protect the site from abuse, Cloudflare processes standard technical connection data, including your IP address, browser type, and the time of each request. This is ordinary infrastructure logging used to deliver and secure the site. It is not combined with the analytics described above, and it is not used to identify you personally.

Your privacy choices

You can change or withdraw your cookie choices at any time by reopening the cookie settings from the Privacy settings link in the footer. You may also opt out of Google Analytics across all sites with the browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, and manage Google advertising at adssettings.google.com. This site honors the Global Privacy Control signal sent by your browser.

Consumer health data (Washington residents)

Some pages on this site describe specific kinds of therapy, such as trauma, anxiety, and EMDR. If you are a Washington State resident, the information that analytics cookies collect about which of these pages you view may be considered consumer health data under Washington's My Health My Data Act. Analytics cookies that could collect this data are set only with your consent through the cookie banner, and before you consent any measurement is limited to cookieless signals used only for aggregate reporting. We use it solely to understand how the site is used, and we do not sell it. You may withdraw consent at any time using the Privacy settings link, and you may ask us to access or delete this data by contacting us at hannah@hannahleetherapy.com.

Your rights and a note on data

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Depending on your state of residence, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the limited data described here, or to opt out of its use.
